Southern Giant Petrel?

The Southern Giant Petrel ("SGP" for short), was on the endangered species

list for a couple of years.   Since the endangered species status protects the animal from human interaction/interference, the SGP started to flourish and soon the International Union for Conservation of Nature ("IUCN") had to remove the SGP from the endangered species list.   Once off the endangered species list the SGP's numbers started to dwindle, but not as much as they had, before they were listed on the endangered species list.
